Browse Auctions NowYour Buying Journey
From sign up to pickup, here's exactly how buying on Equip-Bid works. No surprises.

Create Your Free Account
Signing up takes about two minutes. All you need is your name, email and a password. There's no cost to create an account. You'll never pay a membership fee or subscription. Once you're in, you can browse, bid and add items to your Watchlist right away.

Browse & Discover
Explore active auctions across categories like estate sales, commercial equipment, restaurant kitchen gear, electronics, automotive and retail overstock. Use our powerful filters to narrow by category, condition, price range, location, closing time and seller. Save items to your watchlist so you never miss a closing.

Place Your Bid
Find something you want? Enter your bid amount, either the minimum or any amount above it. Pro tip: set a max bid and we'll automatically bid on your behalf up to that amount, only as much as needed to stay in the lead. You'll get notified if you're outbid so you can decide whether to bid again.

Win & Pay
When the auction closes and you're the highest bidder, congratulations! You'll receive an invoice with a clear breakdown: your winning bid, the 18% buyer's premium, a $1.50 item fee per item and applicable sales tax. Pay securely with a credit card for invoices under $2,000 or by wire transfer for larger amounts.

Pick Up Your Items
After payment, you'll get pickup details including scheduled pickup windows, location address and what to bring (your invoice confirmation and valid ID). Most pickups happen within a few days of auction close. Bring your own help for heavy items and enjoy the thrill of the deal when you load up.
What You'll Pay: Transparent Pricing
We believe you should know exactly what you're paying before you bid. Here's a real example of what an invoice looks like.
Bid Like a Pro
A few strategies that experienced buyers use to win more deals at better prices.
Use Filters Aggressively
Don't scroll endlessly. Narrow your search with filters. Combine category, price range and location to find exactly the items you're looking for in seconds.
Review Terms and Location
Before bidding, check important details such as payment terms and pick-up location and time to ensure you are prepared and available for pick-up if you win.
Check Photos & Descriptions
Every listing includes photos and a detailed description. Read the condition notes, check all images and attend the preview period when available for high value items.
Bid with Purchase Intent
Bids will not be removed and you are responsible to pay for any items you have won, even if you change your mind.
Set a Max Bid & Stick to It
Decide what an item is worth to you before the auction heats up. Set your max bid and let the system bid for you. You'll only pay what's needed to win, not your maximum.
Use Your Dashboard
This is where you watch items, bid and receive the invoices for items that you have won.
Watch the Closing Times
Auctions closing soon often have the best opportunities. Items in the final hours attract less competition than freshly listed items. Sort by "Closing First" to find them.
Build Your Watchlist
Save items you're interested in and get notified when they're about to close. A good watchlist strategy means you'll never miss a deal because you forgot to check back.
Check Back Often
New auctions launch regularly with fresh inventory. The best deals go fast. Make it a habit to browse weekly. Many of our top buyers check in every few days.
